Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber released his debut EP, My World, in late 2009. It has been certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record to chart on theBillboard Hot 100. Bieber released his first full-length studio album, My World 2.0, in 2010. It debuted at or near number one in several countries and was certified platinum in the United States. It was preceded by the single, "Baby", which is also, as of 2015, the YouTube video with the most dislikes. "What Do You Mean?" is a song recorded by Bieber for his upcoming fourth studio album Purpose. The song was announced on July 28, 2015, on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and released on August 28, 2015, as the album's lead single. It was well received by music critics. The track was also a commercial success in his home country, topping the Canadian Hot 100. "What Do You Mean?" debuted at the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 where it stayed for one week, and topped various other charts worldwide, including Australia, Norway and the United Kingdom.
